Gerstman poised to oust incumbent auditor Newmann
May 7, 2007 I waited with fellow democrats last night at Headquarters while the results came in. It was an exciting time for all of us!
I also had the pleasure of seeing Ramsay Harik again, the brilliant religious scholar and writer.
This election has been a joy! A world of appreciation to all the local candidates who stepped up and ran for office!

My goals for Monroe County Auditing are:
*establish better communication with the many county offices that rely and depend upon the Auditor for information and services, including payroll
*ensure public budget and appropriation requests are advertised punctually and accurately
*ensure property transfers are completed properly and promptly
*adhere to all state statutes in a timely and legal manner
